The location is perfect, right off the main road. Set back enough to get the feel of seclusion. Very nice rooms and the owner is amazingly sweet.
My fiance and I stayed here for a long weekend in the month of November. We have nothing but great things to say about these cabins. They are a little piece of Vermont paradise. The quality of the cabin we stayed in (big enough for 2) was recently refurbished in the past few years and it was GORGEOUS! It has the quality of a 4-5 star hotel (in my opinion) smack dab in the middle of the woods - you can't ask for anything better. They have a wonderful whirlpool tub right in the cabin itself which was extremely relaxing. The kitchen and cabin is extremely open and inviting, yet very intimate and romantic with a fire place to stay warm. The location is central to everything you would want to do in the Stowe/Waterbury area (Ben and Jerrys/Breweries...). It is very close to a major grocery store where we stocked up on dinner makings for a few nights in, and close to many delicious restaurants to eat out. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our time here. It is a slice of northeastern heaven! Thank you for having us!
I had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and cozy. We had everything needed for a weekend away. We were able to cook many meals with a fully stocked kitchen. It was quiet and the location was perfect. Had a great time!
Bed was bad! Couch had stains on from Lord only knows what and there was tons of dust and dead insects on various horizontal surfaces....it could have been a great little place..... especially considering it was $200/night
The cabin was very dingy and dirty. It smelled of old cigarettes even though smoking isn't allowed. With some basic updating it could be a very nice place. The location is perfect, centrally located to Stowe and Waterbury. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it or come back myself.
