This guy is very talented. They have a viewing area to watch him work and the women behind the counter was also the guide. She told us what he was doing each step of the way. They have a room full of glass blown things that he has made for sale.
Showroom and shop in the front and a place to watch Ziemke creating glasswork in the back with chairs and benches for a group of 10 to 12 people. Fun to watch!
Best demonstration ever because it very well narrated. The colors in his glass work were vivid and a nice selection was present. We so enjoyed the presentation and Q&A that we bought a piece from the shop for the memories.
This is a very fun shop. They have a spot where you can sit and watch the pieces being made. We were told that they typically blow glass for 7 hours a day when open. Usually with a very small window of down time in between pieces. Very informative with a step by step explanation available while the pieces are being made by the guy working the front of the shop. Also the glass pieces seemed to be reasonably priced.
It is possible to commission work like glassware in quantity.
